Slow Down, you Crazy Life
Hi, how often have we been guilty of making simple commitments but unable to follow-up on the same? How often I have promised myself to regularly carry out maintenance on my laptop; to delete unwarranted clutter from my outlook, to do away with unnecessary downloads cluttering my folder but never really got down to doing it?
Well, good deeds deserve a good reward and I came across a few limericks written years ago when I came good on my promise. Sharing the same below and somehow I feel, most of you may have walked at least a few miles wearing the same shoes. Do let me know.

My morning goes by me everyday, in total haste
I need some more time… to sit with my paper, my ginger tea
Which I read n drink but have no time to absorb or taste.

It calls me to admire it, listen to the birds but all in vain.
I walk past it, phone in hand not giving it more than a look…
How I wish I could sit there and enjoy my favourite book.

Is life truly rushing by or do I need to get my priorities right…
How do I know which ones to choose… what is right???
For me to realise, that maybe I need to take a step or two back?
It’s just a small nudge to set me thinking about you
There in only one life, I don’t have to live or pack in two.
I want to enjoy every moment, every little blessing;
24 hours are enough for me, I don’t need any more.
Just let me relish it, please don't run past me in such a furore!!
